Contact Spice Insider: Questions, Corrections & Grinder Talk Welcome
Whether you’re stuck on a grinder decision, found outdated info in one of our guides, or just want to share how fresh-ground cumin changed your cooking โ we’re listening.
When to Reach Out
We built Spice Insider to answer the questions we couldn’t find honest answers to ourselves. That mission only works if we’re actually hearing from the people using our guides. Here are the situations where dropping us a line makes the most sense โ and a few where you might find a faster answer elsewhere.
-
You have a troubleshooting question not covered in our guides. If your grinder is making a noise we haven’t described, leaving a residue we haven’t addressed, or behaving in a way that doesn’t match anything in our troubleshooting section, describe it in detail. Even if we can’t diagnose it remotely, your question may inspire a future guide that helps other cooks with the same issue.
-
You spotted outdated information or a broken link. Product availability, pricing, and specs shift constantly. If a grinder we recommend is discontinued, a link no longer works, or a spec we quote has changed, tell us. We update our guides regularly, and reader tips are often the fastest way we catch these changes.
-
You want to suggest a grinder for us to review. We can’t promise to cover every suggestion โ our testing bandwidth is limited โ but we track every request. If multiple readers ask about the same model, it moves up our priority list quickly. Include what specifically interests you about the grinder so we understand what you’re hoping to learn.
-
You have feedback on a guide โ positive or critical. If a guide helped you pick the right grinder, we genuinely love hearing that. If a guide left your question unanswered or you think we missed an important angle, we want to know that too. Constructive criticism is how this site gets better over time.
-
You’re a fellow independent publisher or content creator. If you run a complementary site or resource and see an opportunity for collaboration, referencing each other’s work, or just connecting, we’re open to those conversations. We’re selective about partnerships, but we believe in the independent web and like supporting others who do honest work.
Send Us a Message
Use the form below to get in touch directly. The more specific you are โ about which guide you’re referencing, which grinder you’re using, what exactly is happening โ the more helpful our response can be.
We don’t store your email for anything beyond replying to your message. No newsletters, no marketing, no sharing with third parties. If you’d like a copy of your message for your records, note that in the message body and we’ll include it in our reply.
Prefer to Email Directly?
If forms aren’t your thing, you can reach us directly at our inbox. This is the same place form submissions land, so there’s no speed advantage to one method over the other โ use whichever you prefer.

What to Expect After You Write
We’re a small team, not a customer service department. Here’s what the timeline typically looks like:
- Most messages receive a reply within 2โ4 business days. During busy periods โ around major holidays, or when a new guide generates a lot of reader mail โ it may take closer to a week.
- If your question is already answered in an existing guide, we’ll point you to the relevant article rather than rewriting the same information in an email. We know that can feel less personal, but it’s the fastest way to get you a thorough answer.
- If you’re reporting an error, we’ll confirm receipt and let you know when the correction is live on the site. Most factual corrections are made within 48 hours of confirmation.
- If you don’t hear back within a week, it’s possible your message landed in a spam filter or got buried. A brief follow-up is completely fine โ we’d rather get a gentle nudge than have you think we ignored you.
Quick Answers (Before You Write)
A few questions we receive often enough that the answer might save you the trouble of typing out a message:
“Can you recommend a grinder for my specific situation?”
We can’t provide personalized recommendations via email โ there are simply too many variables and too few of us. What we can offer is the same decision framework we use ourselves, laid out in our how to choose a spice grinder section. Walk through those questions honestly, and the right category of grinder usually becomes clear without needing outside advice.
“Will you review [specific grinder model]?”
We track every suggestion and prioritize models that multiple readers ask about. We can’t promise a timeline, and we don’t announce our review calendar in advance. If a grinder shows up in our guides, it’s because we’ve tested it thoroughly โ not because we rushed to publish based on demand alone.
“Can I write a guest post for Spice Insider?”
We don’t publish guest posts or unsolicited contributed articles. Every piece on this site is written by someone on our team who has directly tested the products or techniques described. We’ve found that’s the only way to maintain the consistency and trustworthiness readers expect from us.
“Do you accept free products for review?”
No. We buy every grinder we review at retail price, the same way you would. This is covered in more detail on our About page, but the short version is that we believe independence is worth the cost of purchasing our own review units.
“I’m a brand โ can we work together?”
We don’t accept sponsored content, paid placements, or affiliate partnerships that influence our recommendations. If your inquiry is about something else, you’re welcome to write, but please know upfront that our editorial independence is not negotiable.
